I just noticed something today that i didn't pay much attention before.
I was just now reading last year's Nintendo investor meeting presentation and i found something there that was very curious.
First, it mentions how he wants to change the way they sell games - now screams of that DeNa deal, doesn't it?
But the curious part was not that... they also want to change the way they sell the actual hardware: "we will also try to change the way in which dedicated video game systems as well as software are sold that people have come to take for granted." - http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/library/events/140130/03.html
Unfortunately, no clues were given.
It could be Fusion and you get a cheaper price when buying both systems;
It could be a partnership with phone companies to lower the price of the console if you buy a specific device or join a specific plan (also done by XB360?);
You buy a certain amount of games and Nintendo gives you a special discount on HW for your friends;
Heck, i have no idea. But i really am curious!
