Like I said earlier
this thread is getting more buzz then it was last year.

Hopefully it means nintendo is getting more attention and more sales :)

Well I am hoping Chartz is spot on or is undertracking wii u in NA

it has 60k so far for the first 2 weeks of Febuary which makes sort of sense since its Febuary(so its gonna be better than january) and wii u is getting some discounts at walmart and bestbuy.

Bets:

(Won)Bet with TechoHobbit: He(Techno) says 10 million by January 1,2014 I say 9 million by then. Winner gets 2 weeks of sig control.

(Lost)Bet with kinisking: I say Ps4 will win April NPD while he says Xbox One will win it; winner gets 1 week of avatar control.

Raichu's First Series:

First RPG?

First Fighter?

First Racer?

First Shooter?

First MMO?

First Horror?

I hope we get a Direct this month. Nintendo still has no games for April. They could squeak Yoshi's Woolly World in there I think. March would be a good time for a Direct I think.

Maybe we could have a GDC direct :P

GDC Direct would be both nice and also probable.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

but I was just so bored waiting to get to the next island in the endless expanse of blue. As for the graphics, plenty of Gamecube games looked great without the need for cel shading; Metroid Prime 1 & 2, for example.

i will never understand this...didnt you feel the sense of adventure ..to go where no one has gone before ? :p

and it clearly wouldnt be possible to create a game like WW without cel shading graphics.

I felt it at first, but the feeling didn't last for me.

And I reckon it could have been done with Twilight Princess graphics.

Has anyone downloaded the Ironfall Demo yet? I did it today and played through the mission and I though we're suppose to get the online multilayer demo too? That's kind of what I wanted to try out.

Also, very generic, and the sensitivity of the pointer controls are so weak that it's a bit painful.

Yeah I downloaded it too; its graphically impressive but otherwise feels very sterile.

So after playing MM3D (along with a bit of Pokemon Shuffle) on my New 3DS, I've come to share my impressions. I'll list them in bullet points just so it's not a long, fat paragraph.

-The c-stick feels exactly like you think it does. Very useful and intuitive.
-Upgraded 3D is very good, will make me use 3D more in the future
-Haven't used ZR/ZL buttons yet, but I imagine they're useful for circle pad pro games
-The buttons that were moved around (start, select) are better in their new positions. The singular home button feels better as well.
-The stylus is a bit shorter, kind of odd. Its placement at the bottom is a little weird also, but it's not a big issue
-The hinge feels more solid and compact now
-The battery life seems to be slightly improved
-The glossy finish looks much more appealing and grips easier than the matte finish of the original 3DS XL
-The entire OS runs faster than it did before

Overall, I'm really enjoying it and I highly suggest anyone that's interested to pick it up when you can. Especially if you're looking forward to upcoming exclusive software

Nice mini-review! Owning the system since it launched I agree with pretty much everything you've listed. Been very enjoyable so far, and easily one of Nintendo's best designed portables in my opinion. Only the Nintendo DSi surpasses it I think.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, what do you like so much about the DSi?

It has a very seamless look to it. The whole case is matte and has a very sharp design, just looks very clean and modern. The funny thing is I never actually owned a DSi, but I really enjoy the design of it xD
