Out of the 8th gen consoles, yes. I think it has the most compelling and quality software out of the three. Plus I just got tired of the typical third party games I would play all the time on the PS3. If there are any games that I feel inclined to play that aren't on the Wii U (Ex: Alien Isolation, Evil Within) I can just get them on the PS3 anyways so there's not a reason for me to get a PS4 at the moment.

If you mean home consoles then yes, Wii U is the only one i have. Reason why is that before i had a PS3, and i got a lot of FPS games like BF3 and BO2, which weren't bad, but i soon grew tired of them and i missed all of the Nintendo titles, plus the Wii U looked like an awesome system, so last Christmas i got one with MK8, SSB4 and Hyrule Warriors. Excellent system so far, sunk like 350+ hours into it wether its for the better or worse, and will probably be more once i get some of the great games coming this year! :)

Finished 3D Classics: Kirby's adventure! 100%ed the file. -1 backlog.

Mostly.  Others are DKCountry and Kirby Triple D for the 3DS games.

For me, yes, if you don't include handhelds (3DS)...

The main reason for me is the price and that it was bundled with The Wind Waker. I got it because I was able to get my family to help chip in to reduce cost :)

Wii U games are also more 'family friendly' with most games supporting 2+ players (Mario Kart, Pikmin, NSMB) some games supporting five players (Nintendo Land) and SSB4 supporting 8.

Though not everyone finds this useful, I really like the off-screen play so I can game while others watch TV (super useful in my case) and as a TV remote since it goes missing often. Random little features like this makes it seem that Nintendo put a lot of thought into making the console, which I'm sure they did.

But it really depends on what type of games you like to play. FPS is not really for me and I like JPRGs so XOne is no go. The PS4 has no backwards compatability with PS3 so if I am considering to get a PSX, it will most likely be PS3

Pikmin 3 started life as a Wii game, back in 2008. I suspect some of its textures are holdovers of its last gen origins.

It's my only current gen console. PS4 and Xbone haven't done enough to earn my interest so far.

Which I find interesting because, in my opinion, Pikmin 3 is still one of the most beautiful games on the Wii U. Just imagine if they made Pikmin 4 perfectly optimized for the console.

Hal Laboratory turned 35 years old today! For those that don't know, they're the developers behind Kirby, Smash Bros., Earthbound, Pokemon Snap, etc.

It's also worth noting that the very first Legend of Zelda game came out on this day 29 years ago.

Yeah, it may not be as polished as the likes of 3D World or Captain Toad, (it also suffered a little from Nintendo not having HD experience at the time) but it certainly has its delectable moments:

NIntendo news of 20-21/02/2015: 

• Global weekly charts, week ending January 31st: The 3DS sold 90k units (a drop of 5% from last week), and around 533k games for it were sold (a drop of 2%). Its best selling games were Pokemon ORAS with 75k units, Shin Megami Tensei: DS2 with 53k units, SSB3DS with 36k units, and YW2.5 with 27k units. Lower in the charts are Tomodachi Life, Pokemon XY, AC: NL, MK7, MH4G, and Yowamushi Pedal (which released in Japan).The Wii U sold 37k units (a spike of 4%), and around 265k games were sold (a drop of 10%). Its best selling games were SSBU with 43k units and Mario Kart 8 with 28k units. Lower charts we see Captain Toad: TT, 3D World, and Kirby and TRC.
• Kirby and The Rainbow Curse released yesterday in North America! The devs behind it were interviewed with topics such as the art style, or why there's no copying ability.
• Daily Majora's Mask 3D easter egg! This time, it's a toy-puzzle from Nintendo released in the 80's in Japan!
• HAL Laboratory is now 35 years old! That's more than twice my age!
• The Mario Party series has sold close to 40 million units worldwide!
• Rodea: The Sky Soldier has been officially announced to be coming to the West, for Wii U, 3DS and, yes, the Wii!
