That'd be really cool if they did. Hopefully this encourages them to continue with certain games like Punch Out as well.

I just checked. It is indeed #1, with SMG2 at #2 and Punch-Out!! at #3.

I personally feel like the fifth game is on a par with the third. 

5=3>1>2>4 for me.

3>1>5>2>4 for me. DD had nothing on 3-5

The problem with the original is that it is was split into too many parts and the investigations were just dull. I agree that some of the characters are awesome though (Edgeworth, Von Karma, Damon Gant mainly), but it just didn't capture the same magic at the fifth game for me. Then again I was a big fan of Fulbright, Blackquill and also some of the smaller characters so that might help. 

3-5 is still the pinnacle, though. I don't think anything will beat that.
