Microsoft has done this before with Final Fantasy XIII. They used PS3 footage in the commercials.

how unaware of their product/advertisement releases could they possibly be to allow this. does no one supervise their own work over there? lol

It isn't though.

They show what publishers allow them to show. It would be pathetic if they put "PS3 footage" or "Xbone footage" on the screen.

It is possible to have the game look like this through the X1, by using the HDMI input on the X1 from a PC setup . :P Totally legit! :D

Microsoft was probably like "Its a multiplat, people wont notice". They never thought about that with Killzone either.
