Forums - Microsoft - Xbox has no freakin' games!

@ Wright, I don't see why you'd bother defending the end of generation content from MS on 360. It's been pitiful.

It's been pitiful, but it's been. I'd rather have very few games than none at all. Fable HD, Stranger in Alda and something more (I guess) is coming, plus any arcade/indie game that's left to release. Not great in terms of quantity, but hey.

It's getting Titanfall. That's something right? I don't think you should've expected anything from MS in terms of support though. Sony is the only one of the big 3 than supports its old consoles after the release of a new one.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

What the hell is that comment supposed to mean? You do realize that only 2 Xbox One launch games are developed by MS first party studios, right?

If you go into gamestop and look at the walls of games, the PS4 is totally lacking in Retail. Not everyone wants to play Indies until Infamous.

Yeah...that's not really the point I'm trying to make. Selnor was saying that the launch lineup on the Xbox One is bigger because MS's first party studios are all concentrating on the X1, which I called out because in fact only 2 games at launch (Forza and Lococycle) are first party developed titles, which is incidently the same number as first party developed launch titles on the PS4 (Killzone and Knack).

They are, the same way that Sony put all its big studios on PS4

I'm talking about the 360, I'm so pissed and I feel neglected by MS. Look at what the PS3 has had this year: Beyond (even though it sucked), Last of Us, Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xilia, Dragon's Crown, Puppeteer  etc, etc.

Where are the exclusives on the 360? GoW Judgment doesn't really count; it was pretty mediocre. Besides Halo 4, there hasn't been a solid exclusive for the 360 in years. The last memorable one was Alan Wake and that was many years ago.

Does anyone else feel really robbed? Why did MS just give up? They didn't even bother keeping some exclusives truly exclusive like Bioshock, Mass Effect, real system sellers. Instead they wasted all their money on timed DLC for shooters and sports games. Truly amazing, and the sole reason I'm getting a PS4 and not an XB1

This was why I moved onto PS3 in 2009 after a 4th RROD I couldn't afford to replace it straight away meaning I had to fall back on my Blu-ray player. By the time I could afford to get a new 360, I realised there wasn't too much on 360 that PS3 didn't offer (the multi plat stuff was much closer to parity by then) so with the PS3 exclusives that were starting to hit around the too (Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain) I never did go back to 360.

Thats why I'm going with PS4 first next gen (well.. 2nd if you count Wii U), I'll wait and see what happens with the XBONE exclusive lineup to see if I'll be jumping in, as MS say.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

The lack of exclusives is why I won't be getting Xbox one,...

That's a pretty narrow view of what's going on in the Xbox division. Look what MS has been building for the last 2 years.

Greatness will come.

Now you've learned your lesson. PS4 is for you. Move on and look away.

One could argue the X1's launch exclusives lineup is so much stronger than PS4's  (especially after drive club delay) precisely because Sony focused more on PS3....

And it probably wasn't a good idea. Beyond got no hype at all (after years and years of endless forum hype) and GT6 is going the same road.

I'm sorry but I don't get what you are trying to tell me.

Except this generation is far from ever. There are still plenty of games that won't come out on next-gen.

I'm still strongly awaiting South Park: The Stick of Truth, Dark Souls II.

I'm more hyped for those two than anything coming out for nextgen so far.

Same. I actually canceled my PS4 pre-order, though I intend to get PS4 still, because I simply could not find a reason not to wait for more games I want being out before I bought it.

Good for you for having some patience lol. I'm strongly considering it too.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

Titanfall isn't exclusive, so I wasn't thinking on Titanfall.

Exclusivity outside of first party outside of first party on Microsoft is kind of confusing, so I guess I kind of filled in the gaps there. I was helping you out, but I guess we must continue to argue.

No one is arguing here. Last time I told you a 360/PC game was exclusive you laughed, so I kind of frowned when you said Titanfall is exclusive.

I was talking about how confusing it is to call something PC/Xbox exclusive or PC/Xboxes or PC/Microsoft or PC/Tablet...I dunno...its all so confusing. I was just saying that to help add a game to the list that wont be on other consoles.

It will be on Xbox One too. So it isn't 360 exclusive.

You're not getting my point. Lets just end this here.

Thats what happens when you make too many exclusives but aren't making Microsoft dollars because of the risk taken.
