it's crazy how nobody cares as long as it isn't xbox one vs. ps4. if you would have posted shots of these versions you would already have 100 replies!

BF4 on PC is seriously the best looking game yet. It beats em all easily IMO.

Now it's different when you see a game in motion but I still wonder why my eyes don't think this looks truly next gen.

MGS5 and The Division look much better, and so does Ryse and Killzone.

These BF4 shots look on par with Metro 2033/Last Light (from what i've seen in CGI's screenshot threads). I haven't seen any of these game in motion though.

Play it on a high-end rig. You will not only be a believer, you won't believe it's actually running on any current hardware.

I only think Metro: Last Light tops it (God, that game - best looking beauty to ever grace any of my screens), but BF4 definitely makes a case for early next gen titles.

Those are strong words. But you are good at selling PC gaming. I'm so tempted to buy a real strong PC now.

I wasn't totally off then by mentioning Metro as one of the top graphics contenders. Do you think it's the very best looking game you have seen?

Seriously? Seriously? Even poorly compressed 720p videos of Battlefield 4s gameplay looks better than any direct feed footage of the best "next gen" games. Rewatch the Phantom Pain footage (running on PC btw) and see the amount of dithering on the hair, current gen PC character models et all. Same goes for Shadow Fall, Forza 5. The internet (Digital Foundry) is full of high quality png captures of direct feeds and they  DO NOT surpass what Im seeing here. Dont confuse CGI/Promo videos with actual gameplay.

The Division yes but I highly doubt either console version will look like what weve seen. MGS5 = no. Ryse = 900p and no

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Ah, I stand corrected on The Division

1080p. It's all about that 120fps.

Finally. Good to know and here we always have debates about 30 fps vs 60 fps.

I do get a chuckle about those debates, from time-to-time. Never mind that that's 120fps with V-Sync. I'd get 200+ in most cases, if I choose to turn it off.

I've barely seen enough 120 plus fps footage to say if it improves the experience over solid 60 fps. Year or two ago Hip Hop gamer was projecting that PS4 would do 240 FPS just because he got one of those 240 Hertz Sony tv's. Boy is he up for some disappointment. There is always Wii U for him to make fun of.

Sorry i ramble sometimes. Point is that most if not all would be happy with 60 frames these days when games dip into mid to low 20's all the time.
