I don't think Ninty will be irrelevant, but I do think they may come third in this gen... they have enough followers and 1st lovers that could keep them on the bussiness for decades.

This guy is the epitome of a casual gamer. So this goes against everyone who says "gamers don't care about resolution".
His thought processes are similar to mine, detestment with the ps3 controller and primariy playing call of duty. But the fact that he makes video game videos makes him more of a hardcore gamer than I am myself. Optimum reselution is obviously more important to him than to me, here is what I see with changes between this guy and me.
Aside from the wii I am a single system owner. he is a dual system owner:
Implications: His call of duty friends are distributed on both sides of the spectrum, so if he upgrades he was already planning on seperating himself from one fan base. So he will lose aprox 50% of his cod buddies. I would lose 100% of mine. Although he hates the controller, he still has a resendet ps3 console so while hating it he had to force himself to get used to it or his ps3 purchase would be a waste. Me, I have played ps3's but never owned any. I have never grown any forced unity with the controller.
SO I can respect his decision given his situation. this is not an xbox fanboy switching, this is a multi console owner choosing a main as he moves on.
It all depends on the person, for me, the controller prefernce alone is more important than launch title reselution disparity.
That said I doubt I will get any next gen consoles that early on, I will watch and see how things progress. things are still mostly speculations of how this gen will play out.
I want to see reviews on the new kinnect, I want to see how these exclusive titles turn out on both sides, I want to feel that damn PS4 controller. there are still too muc I don't know to throw out my money just yet.
