IGN:

As expected, Telltale has revealed the first concrete details about The Walking Dead: The Game’s second season. Season two will be released “later this year” on PC/Mac, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and iOS “with additional platforms to be announced.”

According to Telltale, season two “will continue the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned at the outset of the undead apocalypse, now left to her own devices to seek safety and survive in a world gone mad. Now assuming the role of an ordinary child, players will struggle to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test their morals and control the flow of the story through their decisions and actions.”

The Walking Dead’s second season will include five episodes in all and run through 2014. On PC, a Season Pass will save players 10% and is currently available for pre-order on Steam for $22.49.

“The terrifying nature of Robert Kirkman’s world has allowed Telltale to push the boundaries of interactive drama in video games to a place that has had fans anxious to know what will happen next in this series,” said Telltale CEO Dan Connors. “Today we can finally lift the veil, albeit only a little, on how this story will continue, and we’ll soon be putting players in the shoes of a lead role that will challenge their expectations of how to survive in a world where no one can be trusted.”

Telltale also revealed the first few screenshots from season two, which you can see in our Walking Dead Season 2 image gallery.

In addition, Telltale confirmed the previously outed Game of the Year Edition of The Walking Dead’s first season, which will include all five episodes and the 400 Days DLC for $29.99 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The studio also revealed that 21 million episodes of The Walking Dead have been sold to date.

"The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series will consist of five episodes that will release for digital download over the course of the season, expected to premiere this year and conclude in 2014. You’ll be able to purchase episodes individually as they release for PS3 and PS Vita via PSN, or get the season pass for the best value."

Awesome! Loved Season 1 so much!

i like the first season but after carley got shot i was kind of disappointed (read pissed) too.  i suppose it is impossible (read costly) to make a truely limitless game but it was more on rails than i had hoped and unlike heavy rain the rails were more visible the first play though.

might pick up season two.  might not.  regardless,.. not a top priorty for me.

Yay! More tough choices to make. Then praise them as some of the best choices a game has ever offered.

One of the best games I have played this gen.
I loved this game. I wanted to play it again, but did not, because I was afraid that the perfect impression I had could get ruined.

Can't wait for this one.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Hope it comes to the Wii u
