I didn't buy Arkham City on Wii U because already had the 360 version what exactly did the Gamepad features add?

Arkham City:
-Map was 100% available at all times if you wanted and you could just touch a spot on the map to mark your destination
-Alfred's calls and most other communications audio came from the Gamepad
-Puzzles like decyphering doors or Zsasz minigame on the touchscreen
-Scanning Crime scenes was done by holding the controller and moving it around
-You could touch select your items with the controller instead of d-pad so your arsenal was always available at all times
-upgrading, enemy profiles, missions, etc were all on the controller without needing to pause
-Play off screen without a TV at all
-BAT Mode--basically Electrocutioner's gloves in Arkham Origins in form and function
-All DLC from the 360 versions were on disc
-best graphics but had framerate issues (really just the game loading new areas caused a momenary sputter)

Some but not all of those features are in Arkham Origins. AC is so cheap on Wii U now. I may pick it up just to give those features a whirl.

They were nice, but they still aren't worth you picking up an extra copy of the game, unless you haven't bought any DLC for it and figure you might as well get the more complete version with all content on one disc.
I can get Arkham City Wii U for $15 to $20 brand new. I'd spend more on that getting a pizza delivered.

Gezus! Two weeks?? I didn't even know that. I have only over the last couple of days decided to get this game with the money that I was going to spend on WatchDogs. I had no idea the wii u version was delayed in Europe. Hopefully most of the wii u owners here are willing to wait. Ubisoft is launching wii u AC4 along with the next gen consoles rather than current gen so that is another wait as well. Oh well, I guess COD:Ghost will be my first proper wii u game and along with the aforementioned two as well as SM3DW I will be able to get in some great gaming time as my work load starts to slow down as year end approaches. |
I think its UK only. The Wii U, 3DS and PC (physical retail) has been delayed 2 weeks.
they have absolutely 0 explanation :(
Haha. I'm so glad that there's no Wii U version bashing. When I got AC on Wii U vs the other versions, my friends had at it with me for getting it so late and on the Wii U. Shows how much they know. I can take batman to the can.
I hate to necro an old thread, but I still have that Deathstroke DLC code. If anyone has the game please PM for the code, I'd hate for it to go to waste.
