We Wii U owners had it rough for quite some time, it's natural.

I am not a Wii U owner but I will say Wii U

1. Allows used games.

2. Gives proper booklet / manual with every game (its important for me).

3. Doesnt charge for online (last time I heard).

4. Cares for its gamers.

And it still doesn't sell well, jeez what is wrong with this world?

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

I am waiting for new zelda. Then I will get one. I always get a console 1/2 years later release.

Well that's a good plan. I was planning on getting the PS4 in 2 years but due to the price here I think I will probably never get one.

I just find it funny how many users here dont believe negative ps4 rumors but they do believe every single xbox one rumor and treat it as fact.
Sony did have DRM built in. They saw what happened to Microsoft so they aren't gonna say "yes we had DRM built in and were gonna screw you guys over"
I always lol at most users here who believe sony cares about gamers. Sony and microsoft care about their bank accounts.

I find it even funnier how it goes the other way too, but people keep attacking Sony fans, while not realizing that they're doing the exact same thing. They are also ready to believe any rumour, even when there is no evidence to support it. Sony totes wanted to force DRM; they decided not to because of MS. Source? At least with MS, we know for sure that they tried to do so, but failed as the gaming communtiy rejected it. I prefer to stick to the facts.

Anyway, again my point is that although it goes both ways, people who cry foul, do the exact same thing that they accuse other people of. Ironic, ain't it?

Around the Network

You have to remember technology moves so fast, even though the internet has been around since forever (and getting dumber by the day), many delivery services are new from just this past gen starting to this new gen. Twitter, facebook, youtube, smartphone adoption have all skewed the availability of information. The major game makers are still going to go forward because they know that forums are extreme outliers and do not represent the majority of the buying public at all. Most college dude bros are not going to care if a game is at 1080p or 900p, as long as it plays like COD, they will come, same for any other genre

Let them make all the noise they want.

I agree, some people are just fervent about scoring points, it's truly pathetic and they simply just get the ignore button from me.

Too much negativity. Once it sticks, its hard to remove.

@OP: Welcome to the next generation. lol!

I've ignored pretty much all of it. Most of it is stuff I don't really care about, anyway, like 900p vs. 1080p. Hell, I'm fine with 720p.

A lot of the rest, well ... I've been saying for a long time now that all future consoles are going to be buggy and filled with frustrations at launch. I will be extremely surprised if either of them go smoothly. Competition brings a lot of positives but one of the negatives is the rush to market.

The way I see it, if you're not prepared for problems, don't pre-order.

As for the games, launch title technical quality means very little. People need to realize that (again).

At last we agree...

I urge everyone to look at their console and its features now and their games now and then compare those consoles and games with the ones they bought at launch

They bear no resemblance whatsoever

Rumours almost always fall into the fanboy-weak-point-scoring category.

Amen to that. My innserself says, who do I care of a certain consoles games which I dont plan to pick up immediately. When I pick it up then I will say my opinions. Its quite strange. We might be fighting again a few months or weeks later but for the time being I agree with you.
