I don't get all the hate. So, you put 2~milion units of a new product out there that uses network intensivily, and its not works well, oh, tottally unexpected. Reversal or not, doesn't really matters. The thing is: we don't have this scenario anymore, thanks to negative reception, its a good thing we still have this power.

He was never evasive. Stop spewing your utter nonsense bullshit. He came out and said it multiple times that used games would play where ever. Why the fuck would he respond " yes you can buy and play used games where ever you like with no drm policy" when the question was simply about used games. Well that was really interesting to hear. Nobody will give me back the minutes of life I wasted listening to this idiot, but at least we now know how misterxmedia's voice sounds..
Here's the catch about what it is all about: Beginning with 2012 ANY device with a blu-ray drive must have a) no more analogue video out and b) drm copy protection on hdmi out.
You can immediately see the problem: If you press the share button, your stream (which goes through hdmi-out) is copy protected. Of course there are easy ways to remove the protection, but how is your average reviewer able to know that? How is the console maker going to handle the problem? You can simply disable blu-ray movie output, hence you no longer are required to copy protect the hdmi out. Cool solution, but people who want to watch movies would be slightly pissed. So both console manufacturer are somehow in a Catch-22 situation as far as drm issues are concerned...

The only thing that is not only "very likely", but also just logical is that you need to have the PS3 game inside to play the upgraded PS4 AC for example, because you bought exactly 1 copy, which you can play on PS3 and PS4 if you upgrade.

The network problems -> native resolution drop is so absurd even a double facepalm wouldn't accurately describe the fail behind that "leak"

Same with the DRM policy change -> network issues thing. While there might be network issues these have nothing to do with that policy change, but with the ways used for data exchange - if anything less DRM checks should lighten the burden on the network.

And yes, it sounds funny, because it's so absurd.
