Quite a lot of it seems plausible:

Sony changing DRM policies last minute because they saw the negative feedback Microsoft received. Indeed, that would require major changes to their network system and it would explain why Sony kept their policies secret for quite some time.
However, I dont see why the native resolution of a game would have to be turned down because of network issues.
Although: Wii U Cod 1080p and PS4/XBoX 720p ..... want to see that meltdown!!

yeah

keep dreaming!

sony never kept their policies in secret. since february they keep saying same thing over and over again, but some xbox fans tried to spin

just read this article from february and stop with this bs once and for all

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-02-21-sony-tells-eurogamer-playstation-4-will-not-block-used-games

Do you want tell me, that Sony clarified the PS4 DRM policies before or simultaneous to Microsoft?

Their policies were at least vague until a month after Microsoft revealed their policies and the shitstorm broke out.

they didnt need to clarify nothing

all the playstation systems worked the same way

way they would clarify that simultaneosly with MS and lost a huge opportunity to do this

lol

I have been listening "Review Tech USA" for a long time. This guy is clever and sometimes uses speculation very smartly. Around three weeks remaining. After that all will be cleared. In the meantime rumor hunters will try to get as much attention they can gain.

Does this article confirm OP?! http://www.golem.de/news/playstation-4-viele-funktionen-erst-mit-firmware-1-5-1310-102383.html
Sorry but couldnt find any english source.

It actually seems like you have to patch PS4 to be able to watch DVD/BluRay or play games! This should add quite some credibility to OP!

just stop

u are trying too hard

Im sorry .. I tried but I cant make much sense out of your post. Is it difficult to communicate in complete sentences?

There was information regarding Micrsofts DRM policy way before E3. Sony had time to react. Wont argue with you here any further. Heck .. I dont even really care.

I'm not sure I quite understand how network issues affect a game's resolution.

Well if you think about it, it's pretty obvious if you thought about it. Will just have to wait and see. My excitement for the next gen consoles died down during the summer.

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.
