Forums - Gaming - Friend stopped talking to me because I'm playing Final Fantasy XIV instead of Pokémon X/Y. Help?

Well, to be honest, none of my friends play Nintendo anymore. And it get tiresome because I would like to play with them and share some good moments because I do enjoy video games. But they are all about simulators and realistic graphics for whatever reason. I do like to stick to my owns, and even if they don't play it there is no way i am not talking to them. Besides, there are way other things we do together, not just video games.
That is what you have to do with your friend. Do something else besides playing games. Maybe some barbecue, go to a sport game, get some beers, who knows.

if he ignored you because of a game he isn't a good friend. leave him be

What is the matter with you? You go out there and you get pokemon X and Y...twice!!!

Seriously, telling to quit being a little bitch and get over it. Not much of a friend.

glad to see you guys enjoying FFXIV:ARR.

Keep doing what you're doing. If it's really about you not picking up pokemon then you didn't really lose a friend.

You should outgrow from Final Fantasy, it's over man it will never be the same franchise again .

On the other hand your friend needs a little growing, give him a year or two and then proceed to talk again with him.

Your friend will talk with you. Don't worry. Those who have outgrown of pokemon try "ni no kuni". Its the "pokemon" game that was supposed to evolve and run in console. Its great.

I disagree with this.  My opinion is that those who aren't really that don't already own Ni No Kuni just avoid the game.  The games graphics and presentation are good, but the entire game is killed by a very weak combat system.  I'm right next to the last boss now, after I beat the game I'll write a review.

Really? Ni no kuni was a good JRPG for me after a long time. I liked this game. I just came to al mamoon. Lets see how it ends.

ROFL and move on. What friends are like that?

I thought you were the one who was worried your friends would judge you for playing Pokemon X/Y?

While I honestly prefer the more 'adult' games, I have no problem playing it with friends or at home. I have Puss in Boots and Hannah Montana on my PS3 trophy list, I think it's proof enough I'm mostly joking when I say I wouldn't play Pokémon. ;)

That's good advice thanks. I'll see what we can do other than gaming for a while.

Final Fantasy XIV ARR is actually very good and very FF-like!
