I think I either typed it wrong or you misinterpreted me.  I wasnt saying they are the same thing.  Im saying for XBO they are the same because it is always on.  Any time it is booting up it is actually just waking up in other words.

If you choose to use only wake up... yeah.

I know.  I said you may be able to turn it off in the settings but when it is shipped it is on by default settings from my understanding

Booting, or waking up?

Wake-up.  The actual boot-up sequence is slightly longer, I think 11 seconds.

Waking Up and booting up is one of the same.  They said that Xbox One will always be on at a low power state. Though if for some reason you dont like that Im sure you can change it in the settings.

Anyways I like it and how quick it is :)  X360 takes too long to boot up in my opinion.

No.

Boot is from a cold state without any power in the console... waking up is when the console is asleep with all the OS in the memory... so waking up is way fast.

Better to just say that booting up will be performed way less than waking up under normal usage, so it won't be as relevant.  The two terms mean something different so they probably shouldn't be mixed up.

Gotcha.  I wasn't trying to be picky, it was an honest question.

Very nice. I'm a fan of the metro style look, but the dashboard looks like more of the same. Also you should post the video its from.

As soon as I find the video, I will.  Probably tomorrow.

I really like being able to put the console to sleep instead of having to either shut it off or leave it on.

That is a whole heck of a lot better then the 2 minute plus boot up time for the 360.

not bad,. but vita is faster. :P

That is awesome! It's seems about the same as the Xbox 360 boot up sequence. Where the things spin inwards.

The down side its going to make me even more impatient when I have to wait for something. What! I've been waiting here 19 seconds what so you mean it's not ready!

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!
