With Wii U's install base not even at 4 million, legs will not be the same level as they were for the previous consoles. Which brings me to the point, this holiday was supposed to be Nintendo's chance to show that it has quality games available for Wii U. Apart for SM3DW, what other AAA games does Nintendo have exclusive to Wii U? Sonic didn't do that great with the critics (though Im excited for it) and we have a port of a 10 year old Zelda. But nothing that makes you move consoles. After Donkey Kong getting pushed to next year, all we have is a bunch of mini game collection games such as Wii Fit U, Wii Sports U, Wii Party U and Mario and Sonic. I was utterly disappointed at this holiday's lineup for Wii U exclusives as it was Nintendo's one chance to shine before the next-gen consoles arrive. |
So now the install base was high when 3D Land launched? LMAO. You are overrating the pre order list on vgchartz a bit. And also Wind Waker moved quite a bit of consoles.
