All final fantasy.

I never got a chance to play the older final fantasy and the graphics kinda turn me off (are the mobile final fantasy worth it?)

Mine is Final Fantasy X. The story of being an illusion and/or living in an illusion/dream world really intrigue me a lot.

From The Matrix, Jacob's Ladder, Silent Hill, Inception, etc.

I thought the game's story is a masterpiece and should be played by generations to come.

Tricky poll is tricky.

There's some pretty amazing FFs with great stories in all those "eras" as you put it. FFVI and FFXII top it for me.
