Sony Cracking Down On Ellen Page Pictures, Lawsuit Inbound? ^Featured

Earlier this morning we received a request from SCEE to remove any nude images of Ellen Page that we may have posted. Fortunately for us, we just linked to the images, so instead we just removed the link. The images were leaked from a Beyond: Two Souls review code running on a dev kit.

It seems as something serious is going down at Sony Computers' headquarters. If a leak like this would happen in the film industry, you can almost count on legal actions to be taken. But in this instance Ellen Page is not really nude, it is just a graphic rendering of her body in the nude -- very realistic, nonetheless.

This is not the first time Quantic Dream have included full frontal-nudity in their video games. The protagonist of Heavy Rain, Madison, was also stark naked in a scene or two. But Quantic Dream are now dealing with an A-list actress, Ellen Page, so things could get a bit ugly.

It could be that Sony are just looking trying do a little bit of damage control -- but let's not completely write off a potential lawsuit between Ellen Page, Quantic Dream, and Sony Computer Entertainment. If you were Ellen Page, would you sue?

Update: Confirmed that images requested and related to be removed for "Legal Reasons". Ellen Page is most likely threatening Sony/Quantic Dream with a lawsuit.

So, in other words, this is all speculation? There's no evidence that Ellen is suing anyone. "Journalism".

So, how many of them are out there? I've only found three so far.

Indeed, they even say "we don't know for sure if she'll sue, but it MIGHT happen!" It's almost like they're cheerleading for the idea because they think it's exciting. 

Meh.

just saw some pictures, i think next gen would have helped in this case. at least the pic where you see her breasts from the side show that they could be in better shape on next gen haha. 

Awful.. A chance to post Digital nude pictures of Ellen page and no one is doing it..

I dont get it. Where is this full frontal nudity? Because i cant see it on that trailer at all. It doesnt show anything special, its actually disapointing.

I see a silly picture, so maybe its in the gameplay on certain angles? Seems like alot of nothing to me. Only can be seen using PS3 devkits and the model is probably incomplete.

I actually saw the pics...someone on Neogaf posted them in the Beyond: Two Souls thread over there(now removed)
