Gen 1 (Red/Green/Blue/Yellow)-46.01m

Gen 2 (Gold/Silver/Crystal)-29.49m

Gen 3 (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald)-22.26m

Gen 4 (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum)-25.65m

Gen 5 (Black/White/Black 2/White 2)-21.71m

Total-145.12m Average-29.02m

How well will Gen 6 stack up against previous gens? I think it will sell better than Gen 3, Gen 5 and possibly Gen 4 but will fall short of Gen 2 and come nowhere close to gen 1. Anywhere from 24-28m total.

At first im like WTF are you getting your numbers from O.o But anyway Gen 5 will surpass Gen 3 this year or next cuz BW2 should keep on selling.

Pokemon XY will do 16mil-20mil My guess 18.5mil
Pokemon Z will do 9mil (cuz More Mega Evo's will be introduced, i kno gamefreak will pull this on us)

So 27.5mil is my guess! But im still hoping XY sells more than 20mil to shut down the haters!!!
