It would surprise me greatly if you said otherwise.

It would surprise me greatly if you actually countered the point and put anything worth while into dicussion instead of saying something so pointless. Of course... when there are no counter arguments I guess one needs to resort in saying pointless things

holy fuck what happened to the vita sales?

People are waiting eagerly for the screen downgrade. Sony apologists excuse: customers are too dumb to tell the difference.

Next week... will be brutal.

The difference is minimal. I think people value the slimer, lighter, cheaper and with internal memory model over a small diference in screen quality.

Sales for Wii U will keep on going down until later this month when the bundles arrive.

Wow at Wii U. I mean, the Vita is bad but that has a reason with the new model tomorrow. With Zelda out last week, where's your excuse Wii U?

There's 2 new WiiU superbundles incoming. Try again.

It's certainly an influence, but shirley you can see the difference between a remodel/new colours/$10 price drop which are going to show up in next week's chart; and two better-value bundles which are going to show up in the chart in 4 week's time.  We may well see some even lower lows from Wii-U over the next month unless Rayman and Sonic explode :P

I hope all Nintendo fans are on the 3DS side because of Monster Hunter, if not Nintendo is not in a good position for the holidays. Hoping USA sales and an increase in Europe can save the sales of Japan for the mean time.

What do you mean? Im curious ...... (Confused >_<

people wanting to by a Wii U are buying a 3DS first, I mean Monster Hunter and Pokemon are reason to not get the Wii U yet.

This doesn´make much sense.

What makes you think that, after the great success that was MH3 in 2011, Nintendo fans wouldn´t be buying Monster Hunter 4? Roughy 70-80 % of all MH4 copies were bought by consumers who already had a 3ds. And the system is selling way better in Japan than in other regions, so how exactely "USA and Europe sales can save the sales of Japan"? Wouldn´t it be the opposite ?

Don´t forget that Pokemon and Zelda are on the way, so expect 3ds to continue selling like crazy in Japan until holidays.

As for the WiiU, PS4 is not launching on Japan until next year, so WiiU won´t have to compete with the next generation systems yet.  Nintendo needs a more aggressive marketing campaign to make it seel better. Those bundles are sweet but a price cut, as they´re doing in the West would be necessary.

What Wii U needs is games japanese gamers like.
I have yet to see an anime based game for Wii U or a RPG. The Wii U games line-up hasn`t yet met the demands of the japanese market. Same reason that probably made Sony delay the PS4.

Monster Hunter still in first after 4 weeks. Impressive.
And what a phenomenon are both Animal Crossing and Tomodachi Collection. Still ranking among the 10 best sellers even after many many weeks.

Japan likes it's Life sims alright :)
