Once again no evidence that AMD did partner up with valve, well so much for that piece of fud.

You realize that they also have their own proprietary driver for linux too, right ?

BTW just so y'know left for dead 2 is running on an amd hardware in linux. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klY7dfYAVy8

Well so much for having awful drivers on their part eh ?

I saw it on Linux in a better AMD than this guy... it is unplayable.

I like AMD as a company better than Nvidia but prefer Nvidia products. They just work. I've had repeated issues with AMD products doing video output to my TV.

Once again fix your english. :P

What's your point and what does that article have to have to do with the issue at hand ? BTW don't be using google trashlate because the article itself now became alot less comprehensible.

AMD 4-life.

I'm happy PS4 chose AMD this time around.

While I'm happy AMD fuels all three home consoles as of now, apparently Nvidia wasn't all that interested to begin with.

I picked AMD as they nearly always offer a better price/performance ratio on their cards. This seems to especially be the case in the mainstream to enthusiast section (I'm thinking 7870, 660 Ti territory).

I had a 4850 for years before I upgraded to a 7870, and that card held up pretty well.

Nvidia screwed sony and microsoft to begin with so that's why these console manufacturers are coming to haunt nvidia for the misfortunes placed on the two and nintendo never partnered with nvidia to begin with so no loss nvidia there.

This may have been done before, but for a little fun duel with the tech heads of the site, name your "Alliance"............. and why?

Note: This is for gaming and compute performance. Just curious as to why you picked your specific poison!

For performance?

That's like who's a greater man Lennox Lewis or Stephan Hawking on the basis of punching strength.

I can't see how anyone WOULDN'T pick Nvdia.

NVIDIA pushes more power and has better drivers.

That said, given the choice i'll buy AMD 90% of the time, as I don't go for max power and prefer the value AMD gets by being the underdog and offering cheaper parts.

What side does that make me CGI?

Both choose AMD because nVidia didn't have any x86 + GPU solution... the focus was a single chip... AMD already have the APUs and Intel well the GPU in Intel chips are laughable.
