Why are specs that high for a console port? It doesnt look that good.
Can it run Ghost confirmed?

That's pretty steep for a game that looks not all that different than the first two Crysis games graphically.

550 Ti is almost half as strong as a 5870. I am so tired of this!!!

How do we know that it's a console port?

Sorry, my bad. Actually we dont know but according to Infinity Ward the game will have better textures than next gen consoles. And will be the best looking PC COD game ever(lol). Other than textures they didnt give more details about the superior PC version, but they say the game will be the same graphics aside. So I made the assumption of being developed on consoles and latter ported to PC, just like all previous games.

I don't geddit.
I wouldn't say these specs are high, only the Ram and GPU are relatively high.
The minimum CPU is a Core 2 Duo, which is 7 years old...

On the bright side, if history is anything to go by and if all you do is play Call of Duty, you are pretty much set for this entire next generation if you meet the recommended. :P

I just don't get who gains from this.  BF3 said 560 or 6950 while the 6950 is easily 20%+ stronger.  So then the Nvidia owner complains he can't run it well because he only has 1GB of VRAM and he can't even push 30 FPS on ultra.  Who wins?

Er. The 6950's came in 1Gb flavours too, by the way. :P

Doubt it would need that much power LOL.

Doubt you are able to judge LOL.

6gb RAM and a 5870, minimum?
Trololo?

It doesn't look all that good, does it?
