I can tell i will probably choose froakie, balbasaur and growlithe. After that it depends on how they come. I'm pretty sure i intend to get the legendary Y there aswell, but that usually only happens after finishing the main quest.
Also, i hope all other pokemon are obtainable aswell.

Well, I'll box my starter, and begin the game with a caterpie! ( for the good old times of Fire Red, when my starting team was Charizard and Butterfree).

So the team should be:

Butterfree
Charizard
Meowstic
Dragalge
Avalugg
Marowak

I always try to beat the game with a different team, this time I'll be using Charizard and Butterfree for nostalgia, and will pick 3 new pokémon on my team, so it'll be a mix of new and old pokémon!

4 if you count skerlp intill i evolve it! Yes I love my water types. I should have 8-10 pokemon doing the run thru though. I like working with that amount in a game.
