WII U numbers are good but not great

That's about as good as I'd expect for a pricecut and a remake.  Hopefully, with some proper marketing, Wii Party U will help push things.  Then, if we see a NSMBU bundle with some better marketing, things will take off.

Let´s hope for that. It´s an amazing console.

Not yet it isn't.  I love the games put out for it, but Nintendo has a long way to go before they can show that the Gamepad is truly a revolutionary idea.

Final Fantasy XIV:

PC version enters the chart... Initial Ps3 players accepting that on the PS3 this game plays like shit. (bit harsh but just getting the point across)

It plays like shit on large fates in Coerthas and North Thanalan but everything else is good. All end game dungeons and instances play fine because it's a controlled environment with a limited number of players/mobs on screen. The large fates are only an issue because you could have 100 or more players in the same fate on screen and get terrible lag with mobs not appearing etc.  Everything else is perfectly playable, especially if you have a USB keyboard like me.

The NEW gap between PS3 and X360 is one million now.

1 million lifetime gap and 2 million for the year and about 10 million ahead in software. PS3 could realistically be the top home console this year in hardware and software.

It looks like Europe are completely rejecting the Wii U console cause there's not any kind of increase in that market.

Good to see wii u doing better than the vita..now only if third party developers (not just indies) took advantage of the wii u's potential..

the price cut hasn't come out yet

So this is the week of the pricedrop in the Americas. Decent, I guess. Lets see if its just a spike, or if it will continue to sell at that level in the month of october.

If I understand correctly the pricedrop will hit Europe next week?

And Japan will not see a pricedrop, but a superbundle at the end of october. Is this correct?

Well, the price-cut happened with the launch of WW yesterday. But yes, next week we will see the charts with the price-cut.

And to Japan: Yes, but I'm not sure, seems like the Bundles will have good prices, Premium with Wii Party U, Wii Fit U and New Super Mario Bros.U for ~250€.

my bad what i meant to say was wen people refer to nintendo fans or sony fans or just use the word fans that mean your saying majority of them ( 80-90%). I was just trying to say point out or say some people. Its not fair toward everybody cuz i predicted 30k while i seen others sayig 20-25k (which is accurate!). Also lets not forget Europe is waiting for price cut, we dont kno if it'll help out or not yet, GTA5 still enormous everywhere! US 30k is not bad (obviously not good, but not bad! lol)

Sorry, Mre in my post was suppose to be more. Im not trying to group everyone together because i agree there are reasonable people that predicted

its cool, had someone argue with me on stop cuz of the same thing but he went overboard lol. Started ripping nintendo like there was no tomorrow O.o Anyway I just think if it had games the key thing to sales it would/could do 50-60k a week in US but i guess not :-/

Wii U is a console with a bad mouth-to-mouth reputation, it will need more momentum to gain speed compared to other hardware. It should be slow but at an increasing pace. Expect Wii Party U, Sonic Lost World, Wii Fit U and Super Mario 3D World to further increase the momentum, specally since all those software are $50. I am waiting for Nintendo to announce 3DWorld for the same $50 price, with that it is safe to say all Wii U software will be that price, at least 1st party games. If not, no problem I understand those are games with really huge development teams working really hard. But I am glad the price has been reduced for those that doesn't SEEM to take advantage of the power of the hardware. I was forgetting Wii Sport Club. Damm, I am almost broke. All those indie games also look cool, to be bought on January that probably there is no 1st party software to be released.

GTA5 still in beast mode it seems. Same as with the PS3 sales. 3DS and Xbox 360 doing pretty good for this time of the year, especially the 360 considering it's age.

WiiU sales have improved, but nothing to write home about and will decline pretty soon, as i can't see it selling well on any webshop. PS Vita still pretty week and PSP refuses to go away.
