It probably will sell less than Galaxy, I expect 4-6 million lifetime. If Nintendo releases a true Galaxy sequel, that likely would hurt its sales quite a bit. It wont fail though, people love Mario, even if it is a 3D Land rehash.

Nintendo has just recently been advertising at our local movie theater.  We go to a lot of movies and had not seen any pre-movie ads from Nintendo until about two months ago.  Now we see them will almost every movie.  They've been doing better in my area anyway.

I do care that it's a 3D Land rehash. Sure it will be fun, but I expect much better than this from the first 3D Mario game on Nintendo's first HD system.

visually, 3d world is leaps and bounds above galaxy, so caling galaxy great and 3d world lazy is a contradiction. call it a rehash to your heart's content, it won't change reality. mario is all about level design and 3d world is following the series footsteps with lot's of creativity.

Galaxy in HD on Dolphin looks better than 3D world. You clearly don't understand the meaning of the word contradiction. 3D world has lazy ass visuals. Bland aptly describes it. Not everyone has to agree with your opinion, so stop attacking mine.

the gift of sight allows everyone to disagree. 3d world has more polygons, better textures, more shinyness, all in the same artstyle of galaxy = superior in every way.

I'm gonna say it'll sell 5 million, maybe 6 million max. Not bad at all. It'll also have a good effect on the hardware sales, nothing dramatic, but good enough.
