Honestly since Resistance 3 it seems Insomniac lost their touch. At least that it what it seems to me.
So I really hope SO is a good game so that they can continue to make good games.

Ratchet leaving Sony wouldnt be as bad as when we lost Spyro and Crash but Sony have to hold on to there characters from now on.
As some others have pointed out, he was simply saying that anything is possible even if it's highly unlikely. Sony would have to sell the franchise to Insomniac, another third-party, or Microsoft for that to even be possible. Ratchet & Clank is arguably their most popular platformer IP. Even more so than Jak & Daxter I would say. They're not going to let it go anywhere. Regardless, Insomniac has not been putting out good titles lately. The amount of titles they are producing in a given span is no excuse for the lack of quality. Fuse and the last two R&C games were bargain bin titles. Close to garbage bin if you ask me. If they cannot produce quality games and put them out in abundance at the same time then they need to scale it all back. They are also not very good with multiplayer. They have never been able to make it work well with Ratchet & Clank, Fuse sucked, and Resistance was certainly not known for having a compelling online experience. I have cautious optimism for Into the Nexus considering I've heard they're going "back to their roots" with the game, but I would really warn any future Xbox One owner to keep their expectations of Sunset Overdrive low.

Good, then plan on buying PlayStations. |
Don't worry, I plan on!
I haven't played an Insomniac title in a while but these guys have always been clever and innovative. I wish they'd bring some of their creativity to the Wii U, actually.

Good point. |
i'd like to second that R&C ToD and CiT are amazeballz and follow-up with sunset overdrive at least looks more promising than fuse.

I 'm getting sick to death of this nonsense , that Sony is some how responsible for letting Crash and Spyro go , ND was offered funding through mark cerny who was in charge of Universal Interactive games at the time , and he had a large amount of money to seed the new enterprise and Nd where renting studio space at universal's lot , so mark offered to fund them in return for the IP , which became Crash , so Crash became Universals IP from day one , Sony then came in to the picture as publisher , Cerny did the same contract with Insomniac.
Research shows Video games help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

When we?

I bet that Microsoft will promote Sunset Overdrive even less than Sony promoted Resistance 3. When (not if) the game flops on X-One, Insomniac will put it on PS4.
