What bothers me most about this thread has to do with people bringing in the PS4's hurdle instead talking about the subject at hand.

Only person talking about bad frame rates I know of is you. Do you have links? Did you go yourself?

Trust me, we can tell you're not a fan.

MY cousins were there 2 days and were surprised that ony knack was playable in a ps4 and the other game you could not tell because the controller's wire went into a box. They said that KZ framerate dropped from 60fps a lot of the time. That DC looks worse than forza and is 30fps. Knack has framerate issues.

What surprises me is that no one in the media has said anything about ps games still not in retail units and KZ and Knack have issues with framerate.

I hope they fix KZ and lock the fps. I don't care about knack or DC.

I don't see why it matters what resolution it runs at, as long as it's fun to play. Graphics are taken far too seriously

Much like the beginning of every gen and console, the developers will get more out of them in a year or two. 1080p will become standard as the generation continues.

Then how do you explain some of the developers saying there is no difference in the two. Oh right, MS must have paid them...

Anybody remember when the surface came out, people where critisising MS for having a $400 tablet with only 720p resolution? While on paper it looked bad, but the pixels themselved were rendered to such a high degree. Anybody who owns one or even just read a review knows that the display looked incredible, much better than other 720p displays and at times, even better than ipads retina display. Its not the resolution, its the tech that counts.

Highly debatable as to whether Forza looks better than DC. The environments in Forza 5 and GT6 are dreadful. Pretty obvious they're car porn games. Whereas arcade racers like DC and NFS Rivals focus on both. Don't know how racing games get away with it though. It's like if you made a videogame where only the character models looked good and everyone starts touting the game as gorgeous.
