Financial Analysts are *not* an objective group of people. Those who can influence financial outcomes are, per course, going to be tempted to skew the results in favor of those to whom they provide their trades.

Guy's on the take.

If there isn't any tangible evidence to suggest such, I find that uncalled for.

I'll admit i'm overstating it, but the Wedbush Morgan portfolio does benefit from Nintendo's failure or adherence to industry standards.

formerly a sizable position in Activision Blizzard http://www.nasdaq.com/quotes/institutional-portfolio/wedbush-morgan-securities-inc-87395/sold-out

i'd look for more, but nasdaq's profile is rather unintuitive.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

This sounds interesting, I haven't watched it.

what Pacther said is true, but what he doesn't know is that all the people he is mentioning are pretendos. The TRUE NINTENDO FANS (that have the money to buy it right now) have already bought the system. I don't think they are even vocal about third party bringing their stuff to the Wii U. Instead they just buy the games and that is all, they don't have to justify their buy to anyone, they just buy the games because they are gamers. I cannot say the same thing about all third party publishers, not everybody is going to buy all their games, not all of them are good. I have bought many third party games, and none, none has convince me to buy the next iteration at launch. I can buy them on a discount but not with blind eyes like other console gamers.

Apart from the bad attempt at humor (i.e. 4 wii us), he isn't wrong.

The fans of a company need to get behind it. Look at PS4, in all honesty there isn't really much interesting at launch for the general public to buy the console at that price, but yet all the fans are committed.

Nintendo fans need to do the same.

you are right on the part that they do have to buy third party games (but also good games, not any games. Nintendo gamers are picky, meaning big cinematic games can make it one, maybe two but three times starts to feel old) but it seems that there are not many Nintendo fans around like before. That is the problem, besides NIntendo is coming with a bunch of good first party games (games that cater specifically to NIntendo audience in first place) there is no way I can buy 10 games in a span of 3 months (today to december). what everybody can tell is that Nintendo fans do support NIntendo all the way down. Look at the attach rate of the NIntendo games on the Wii U, impressive 2.5 million copies of Super MArio when there is an install base of 4 millions. lIt might be that Nintendo fans have other consoles too as second console for third party games.

Fuck Pachter.

although he said it in a rude condescending way, what he said is true.

Meh, why can't someone just kill this guy?

When you think my english is bad...sorry for my bad english,    i'm from Germany. And yeees, sorry, that we've almost destroyed the whole world, blahblahblah

But I already have a WiiU... :(

Pachter looked like he was drunk in this video, but i can't say i was offended by what he said

Yea, he just likes being a giant dick to Nintendo.  He might say some true things about Nintendo (although he has been more wrong than right overall) but he will always be a douche bag in regards to talking about Nintendo.
