you are right on the part that they do have to buy third party games (but also good games, not any games. Nintendo gamers are picky, meaning big cinematic games can make it one, maybe two but three times starts to feel old) but it seems that there are not many Nintendo fans around like before. That is the problem, besides NIntendo is coming with a bunch of good first party games (games that cater specifically to NIntendo audience in first place) there is no way I can buy 10 games in a span of 3 months (today to december). what everybody can tell is that Nintendo fans do support NIntendo all the way down. Look at the attach rate of the NIntendo games on the Wii U, impressive 2.5 million copies of Super MArio when there is an install base of 4 millions. lIt might be that Nintendo fans have other consoles too as second console for third party games.
