Capcom is Evaluating Monster Hunter 4 in The West

Capcom is aware that Monster Hunter 4 fans in the west want the game localized. The firm has issued a statement on the matter. 

“Hey hunters! We’ve seen many of you ask for us to #BRINGMH4TOTHEWEST. We’re excited to see the fan base growing and you all showing your passion, keep it coming! We are continuing to evaluate new Monster Hunter titles for the west, and will share any new information with you here on Facebook as soon as we have it.” 

I think everybody needs to be patient. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate sold really well on the 3DS and Wii U. Capcom would be stupid to not bring Monster Hunter 4 to the west.

I am not sure if I would buy the 3DS MH4 version. (I don't really like to play MH3U on my 3DS.)
However, if they would make a WiiU and a 3DS version for the west I would probably buy both, like I did with MH3U. I like the transfer stuff. I hunt the big monsters on my Wii U and I mine and collect stuff on my 3DS when I go by bus to work.

Well it took over a year for MH3U to be ported to the west.

Im guessing MH4 will be ported to Wii U in the next 6 months in Japan and both versions will come to the west around this time next year.

Seeing as Monster Hunter Tri sold well on Wii, and Monster Hunter 3 was successful on Wii U and 3DS. It shows there is a western audience for these games, and on Nintendo systems . I think it is a formality it will be released in the west, beside Capcom needs the £/$/and euros.

If they bring it to Wii U, expect a summer/fall 2015 date instead of a winter/spring 2014 date.

I might get it if it's released here.

I liked MHTri, for the short time that I played it I really enjoyed the raiding. If this comes out on the U I may cave in.

Yeah.....I'm pretty sure Capcom wants to release as many games as possible on as many platforms as possible, but with Capcom's current financial situation, everything that they do money-wise has to be smart. They need money right now and badly.
