I'm talking about sales/figures predictions so yeah.

So only Nintendo fans have unrealistic goals? You never seen a Sony or MS fan doing the same?

That's not true at all.  The only reason I would say you see it here a lot is because T-bone makes like 100 threads a month about sales predictions.

I have debated with both in the past but it's simply not as interesting as some of the stuff Nintendo fans come up with. I don't see many Sony fans with unrealistic Vita predictions, and PS4 will do well. Where did I say MS and Sony fans didn't do the same?

Edit - Not talking about Tbone, he actually seems quite grounded when it comes to predicting. Talking about 340 million WiiU's and things like WiiU winning the generation.

Spam hasnt really been that bad in 2013. It was pretty much stamped out late last Year.

In 2012 it was a mixture of about 8 people who were pissing me off with it and I was reporting like crazy but this Year, aside from a couple of users it aint been too bad. Its never gonna be stamped out completely, but the md team did a pretty good job reducing it.

So you are basing that because of only 1 user (which I know which one you are referring to). Talk about generalizations.

I have no problem admitting someone else is right when I'm wrong.  It's called the scientific method people.

Nope, 3 or 4. I'm not generalising anyone, I'm sure there are just as many Xbox and Sony crazy predictors out there, I just don't find talking about those systems and their futures as interesting (right now) don't get so worked up about what other people enjoy discussing.

If that edit is directed towards my comment, I was trying to say that there are MANY more Nintendo fans going out predicting on a regular basis than Sony or Microsoft fans on this site.  T-Bone keeps the Nintendo community actively predicting.  He occasionally makes non-Nintendo prediction threads, but those are a bit uncommon.  Also, I don't know if I've seen anyone say 340m Wii U's, and saying the Wii U will win the generation isn't unrealistic.  People make those predictions because Nintendo has bounced back before.  

Either way, I've seen people who make predictions (on Nintendo games) like "so and so game will only sell 15k" (a game that, in the end, sells 150k.)  So the whole unrealistic predictions certainly go to non-Nintendo fans as well.
