I never had any problems with any of the 360's UI. The Xbox One UI looks clean and efficient which is all I really ask for from UI.

Seriously ? Are people here b#tching about useless features that probably don't add to games ? This thread should die, period. (Both sides of the fence never fail to disappoint me.)

..and you have nothing. |
well monopoly on OS they do have.... even vista and win 8 have more market share than OS X has so that is not hard to prove the only market where they don't is phones and tablets...
and last time I checked vita doesn't come boxed in with every PS4 ???? now I can almost safely say that anybody spending 400-500 bucks on a console has more than likely a smartphone that can run smartglass... and why are we talking about vita and or smartglass??? this will be just some support functionality that are not needed to experience either rig...
no it's not speculation or wishful thinking, I can garanty you PS4 is more powerful, and XB1 all around features will be better than on PS4 I have no doubt what so ever about it and pretty much anybody that has been following anything will easily admit to that.... PS4 is gaming power house for a console and XB1 entertainement powerhouse.
you just absolutely want your console of choice to be numero uno on every front which it will not be. you will and already have some things that are better on PS4 such as graphic power, remote play( granted you have a vita) and gaikai (granted you are willing to pay for it) if you already have a PS3 though i don't see the point (and pretty damn sure MS will eventually come out with something similar if there is a market there)
and XB will have better points too, better motion and even voice control through kinect than anything the eyetoy is capable and it will be out of the box, better media and entertainement integration, way wider app possibilities with win8 kernel and an all around box thought for pure entertainement and multi tasking in that realm and no the PS4 will not be able to achieve it the same way the XB1 will and I'm sure a lot of people already admit to that....
now if the PS4 UI alone is anything like we saw so far and the OS is usable only with the pad I can easily say it's a win for XB OS too.... both console haven't been thought the same way, for the same use outside of gaming... PS4 kept the more traditional route MS is trying something else but trying to say PS4 traditional ways are on par with MS innovation is plain foolish and not debatable.
people will have to make a choice between what they want from their rig.... PS4 has its qualities, preorders are here to prove that, but XBoss has also a bunch of good points and it is why it is also selling well.... the prorders are not higher than ever for MS just because of crazy fans but because people see something more appealing to it than you are willing to admit....

???
never said anything about adding to games.... that's the point.... what do I get beside gaming and how well thought it is.... if I want a pure gaming rig it's not a console I'm buying....
If you want a entertainement box for your dedicated room, HTPC is a pretty lame solution if you don't have a great set up and a separate server room and are willing to run cable and take the overhead cost to do something clean and easy to use... XB1 will be a good compromise for that and at pretty good damn price.. for what it has to offer a good dedicated PC set won't be able to achieve it at the same price with the same ease of use and convenience out of the box....
we got it you like only gaming and on PC and don't care about the rest.... I care more about the rest than actual gaming... both console will satisfy my needs on that front easily and like I said if I want top of the line gaming experience I get a gaming PC no question on that front....
so useless to you, thank god people have other needs than just the basic gaming... it would be a pretty stale world otherwise, with pretty much 0 innovation for the past 30 years in that market.... beside horsepower...

So wait a minute ? innovation = non gaming features on a gaming console (People are seriously losing sight what's supposed to be important to gaming consoles. Whats more is that these consoles are starting to lose sight of themselves and this includes the WII U. BTW your probably the minority compared to everywhere.)
Just so everyone here knows I ain't dissing the feature for the people that got defensive over nothing. I'm fine with it being able to do multiple apps and shit but it's not for me.

yes it is, like non communication related innovation are on smartPHONE.. with people like you we would still be using feature phones and sending SMS and calling people on GSM ....
yeah you are right I'm the minority LULZZZ read some data before talking, when you see how much time people spend on their console for other thing than gaming I pretty damn sure I ain't.... but yeah keep running your agenda.... I'll just add you to my ignore list with the other
I DO NOT want another JUST GAMING CONSOLE and I'm far from the only one, really really really far.... I have half a dozen of gaming capable devices at home I don't need another one that does about the same with some remote graphic improvement I can get on a tablet PC almost.... so yeah it ain't about games only anymore and if you missed the memo it has always been the point of XB.... MS never got in that market for gaming it is just a conduite to have a spot in your living room.... been more than a decade that we know that..... and they never lost sight in that regard ever... you just don't get it.... if you don't won't it good for you, I do and a wide bunch of people are looking forward to have something more than just an other gaming toy....

Do people really need to use four different apps at once? I can see using Skype and something else at the same time, but Skype, Netflix, Hulu, and NFL Network all at the same time? I don't see 99.9% of the people with an Xbox One using all four apps other than testing out that it can be done or showing off to friends.
