Forums - Gaming - What's the best Moviegame you ever played?

The Super Nintendo and Genesis had the best movie tie-ins. Aladdin, Lion King, Batman Returns, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Robocop vs. Terminator, Rocketeer, etc., etc.

Some of these games have not aged well unfortunately.

One game I can't believe anyone's mentioned is The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. I only got to play an hour or two but it was great for what I played. I've gotta pick up a used copy of that game.

Easily Goldeneye, there are other "decentish" ones but nothin on Goldeneye (where it turned out to be better than the movie itself.

Working on: GTA IV - 87%, Batman: Arkham Asylum - 80%.

I'd say KOTOR.. but that isn't a movie game, its a franchise game.. i'd say something like Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga can be counted as a movie game, since it is actually based on the movies

Anywho, that little tidbit aside, Goldeneye by a long shot

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace!!! lol, just joking. Has anybody else played that game? I swear, there were game breaking bugs/glitches in every level.

Oh speaking of Star Wars, how about one of the Rogue Squadron games?

I remember renting that game(The Phantom Menace) and feeling totally befuddled.

Even though they may not be based off of a single movie, there are quite a few Star Wars games that I count among my favorites: Rogue Squadron series, Shadows of the Empire, Battle For Naboo, KOTOR, and my not-so-secret-dirty-little-secret, Jedi Power Battles. They more than make up for the Phantom Menace's and SW: Bounty Hunter's.

I'm also a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, and really love TMNT1-4. I realize the games are, for the most part, based off of the cartoon series, but still.

The Godfather on Wii, while far from perfect, was quite fun. Batman for the NES is very fun. I played it again last year and don't have any idea how I beat it as a child. I don't know how I would enjoy it today, but I remember being pleasantly surprised by The Adam's Family on SNES.

I'm sure there are a few others that are escaping me.

Goldeneye (of course)

If TV series count TMNT is a worthy second.
