The link does not lie. Does it? I guess only if it links to Neogaf or Fox news.

I'm not sure about you but what they are doing seems to be smart. Somebody has to fight against the vicious democrats even though I hate republicans too.

Just no. Less free money will convince people to do something with their life. Not to mention...if these programs are being cut, why are more people sucking money out of them now than ever.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I do not care about party fighting...or party rocking :P...But I do think this program is the least of our countries worries. Creates tons of jobs, plus all the taxes that comes from it probably makes the program not that bad for us. Plus it is nice to allow people to eat food. I am sure they could tweek the program some to ban some foods so that obesity goes down in our country, but other than that, just leave it.

You have to realize that the US is broke. This ain't the 1950's america where the american dream was easily achieveable this is a recession where cutting costs is the best idea in this case.

Believe it or not, with or without that program Socialism exists in the United States in many forms. In fact, we have become more Socialist, not less.

That is why socialism never succeeds in becoming the bigger country.

Finally something we agree on I think.

I make like 12 to 15k a year yet make ends meet with my only "subsidy" being that I pay a low tax rate. I still buy games, expensive phones, build new computers, go to the bars with friends, yet apparently somebody of my status needs food stamps and every other subsidy?

Not exactly sure what you're saying.  Are you saying Socialist countries do not grow, or that Socialist countries are not among the top?  Either way, that's wrong.

Or, technically.  Democratic Socialism is a thing, and Germany is a major economic power as well as being a Democratic Socialist state.
