...No? The Wii U gets the game too. It's cool for Vita owners to be able to play Monster Hunter, but as the game has already been out on PC and 360 for years, and is coming to PS3 and Wii U as well, I think most gamers who want or wanted to play this game already have the means to do so.

That said, I'm sure the portability will attract some new players. Vita sales might hop a bit, and the game should sell decently. But after MH4 broke Portable 3rd's first-week sales record, I don't really think Capcom is seriously considering leaving Nintendo platforms right now, so the 3DS ought to continue getting Monster Hunter games.

they outsold by a little but factoring that psp not only had a bigger user base, but it was during holiday, 5 days of sales vs 2 days! Also MH was more on Sony much longer than Nintendo! Just crazy, find some articles stating this was a bad move! People thought it wouldn't do well, heck even we underestimated it O.o

I underestimated it a lot. No way did I think it would beat P3's sales, for exactly the reasons you mentioned.

it's a port of a port of a port.

I guess Sony counter-moneyhatted Frontier G then

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

This can´t be serious

Monster Hunter really isn't as good as people make it out to be. It just sells a lot in Japan. The only people who care that it's released on another console would be the seven fans in the west or the Japan.

That is your opinion and not a fact !

The thing about Frontier G is.....that it requires a constant internetconnection...and I don´t think it would work well over 3G

(unless you meant portability as in being able to move your Vita at home)

Right, I actually brought that up with a friend when we were discussing this. He reminded me that the internet is practically a naturally occurring resource in Japan.
