My Nokia 920 and all Nokia's as far as I know are singled out in all reviews bar none for their low light capability. Indeed they have an entire marketing campaign built around it. The XperiaZ1 just makes eveything too light and you lose contrast and definition. It would be nice to know how light the room was and which is the most accurate reflection and what was trying to be achieved in the shot. The Nokia also comes bundled with Nokia Procam app (amongst many others) which brings all manner of manual capability to make any shot possioble. So if I want a washed out, overly bright pic like the Sony one above, I can achieve that too. |
I was perfectly happy with the 920 but getting to play around with the Procam app made me want the 1020. The app is terrific on the 920 and I can just imagine how amazing it is on the 1020 with that sensor.
