What? Are you saying the new Vita is real? I thought it was just a ruse by Sony to drive Vita sales. Everyone was going to get one before the ones with the good sceens run out.

Of course its not trash. It will be cheaper as time goes on aswell. Its just a matter of choice.
If you care that much that your colors are darker you go with OLED, if not you get the other. Its not even as significant as the 3DS to 3DS XL difference, in wich the XL loses some detail compared to the classic. Hardly anything noticeable, but its the kind of difference were talking about here aswell.

The round start and select buttons are the biggest starts for me in the new version Vita. They are really tiny on the first model.

My son wants a Vita, but I told him he'd have to give up his cell phone...

OT - Screen looks good enough for me. Not sure why you need better screen if it wasn't being utilized fully anyway.

Yeah that static image on screen clearly helped prove the LCD wasn't going to be as craptastic as Vita peeps feared. At least the buttons are clickier.

I have a 1000 model. I should be okay until a 3000 model comes up in 3 years. I've heard the original PSV's OLED screen has a limited life span, but the 2000 model doesn't quite do enough to have me interested.

Now, had it been 4GB of internal storage, increased ram along with the other features, we would have had something.  4GB would have been plenty for my non-game software, like music and photos and maybe a few other things.  I know it isn't much but it's still 4x more than what's coming.

Good thing he clarified it was a PSV so many times.  I forgot mid-way through the video and thought Sony was making their own version of a 1DS... later, I mistaked it for a 1DS again, but he kept repeating as if he knew what I was thinking.

Can someone clarify, is the new Vita screen an LED or LCD? I swear I read it saying LCD when it was announced and this guy is saying its an LED.

LCD. The backlight is LED.

Screen comparisons have been done already. The original OLED still poops on it.
