That Mr. saw Sony rising on the video game industry selling more Playstations that Nintendo hardware in its history, but also saw them waste money like if they were invincible. I don't think he really cared about that, he was always making money for Nintendo during every generation of consoles. He made more money than Sony during the N64 and Gamecube where the PS1 and PS2 were "kings". He actually was proud of that, i guess. He single-handed Nintendo to succeed on both the company and the gamers side.
