your wrong, where did you add 2.5mil + 500k digital? Its between 2.45mil-2.55mil with 9 days of sales. Your prediction was off. It'll hit 3mil with digital sales around pokemon Release maybe a week before

are you crazy? Its already 2.45mil. Do you think it'll stop around 3mil? Highest 3.5mil? It'll be 3mil before Nov and over 3.5mil before The 7 month forecast (2.8mil in 7 months). Why would you think it'll sell so much less than MHP3 when its on even ground and MHP3 launch in Dec???

Didnt MH4 release in digital format aswell? If thats the case this wouldnt be a fair comparison. We wont ever know unless capcom tells us.

ok i think your confused, MH4 sales are no less than 2.43mil sales which puts under MHP3 by around 150k at a worse case scenario.

MHP3 released during holiday (Dec) meaning people spend more money, thus more sales. if MHP3 released in Sept as well it would of sold much less in its 2nd week. It'll sell more than 3mil lifetime, much much more!

The package version (1,715,000) + DL card version (155,000) + e-shop direct DL (100,000) =1,970,000. http://www.m-create.com/ranking/ MHP3rd :1,951,000

If you add this week total numbers + 255k from 1st week digital download+cards we have 2.43mil. This doesn't include digital for 2nd week! Its doing well, also 3rd week sales will be lower as capcom is sending in a new shipment on the 29th! 4th week should pick up!

I'm looking at the numbers provided in OP. It doesn't say that MH4 is at 2.43M.

Also, there's much more competition in December.

true, but sales sky rocket during Nov, especially Dec. That reason is irrelevant. if MH4 continues to sell this in retail then it'll surpass 3mil before Nov comes, also nintendo games have legs, with pokemon coming out this holiday you'll see MH4+Pokemon outselling almost everything! If you still dont think MH4 will sell over 3mil or 3.5mil lifetime we could make a bet off it
