ok i think your confused, MH4 sales are no less than 2.43mil sales which puts under MHP3 by around 150k at a worse case scenario.
MHP3 released during holiday (Dec) meaning people spend more money, thus more sales. if MHP3 released in Sept as well it would of sold much less in its 2nd week. It'll sell more than 3mil lifetime, much much more!

true, but sales sky rocket during Nov, especially Dec. That reason is irrelevant. if MH4 continues to sell this in retail then it'll surpass 3mil before Nov comes, also nintendo games have legs, with pokemon coming out this holiday you'll see MH4+Pokemon outselling almost everything! If you still dont think MH4 will sell over 3mil or 3.5mil lifetime we could make a bet off it
