I would like to know if ps4 line up is good for Asia outside Japan.
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Asias market is PC centric. EQ, WoW, starcraft, diablo and the likes. So it really isnt but at the same time im not sure any system really had a push. We will see with the Ps4. Maybe sony knows the demographics will be looking into a system this time around.
Wow Sony kicking butt in terms of markets they are releasing too. They seem to have a good handle on this compared to the mess of PS3.

That depends on how you look at it. First, Japan is not as big of a console market as it used to be. Sure, it's still very important but North America and Europe are the two most important regions to win. So it was important for Sony to focus on making sure they had everything lined up for those markets. Which meant holding off on any real Japanese focus. Japan is also far more receptive to homegrown games than they are Western games. However, from what I understand, the other Asian markets are much more receptive than Japan is to Western games. So while Japan practically requires that a console have plenty of Japanese made games from the very first day the other Asian markets are not quite so needy of Eastern games. So it probably boiled down to Sony needing to make sure they hit the Western markets hard and the other Asian markets would be fine playing mostly Western games. Japan pretty much became the "Special Needs" nation and Sony did not want to risk stumbling in the West just so they could please a single nation that isn't as important as it used to be.

I dont know about the rest of Asia, but in HK most people here have very simular taste to the japanese and also like big AAA western games.

Well all the conference was like the Japan 9/9... New Vita, Vita TV, etc... release dates... that's it.
The TGS conference is to happen in about 5 hours.
