It worked. There was a bit of ambiguity in her "Okay." But my impression was that she didn;t believe him and she was disappointed on many levels.

When she said the famous "okay", that was ambiguous, but it still felt to me, like that bond they developed, was fractured, cause she knew he was lying to her and that the trust was severely weakened. Although I didn't actually think it's that severe, that she would feel the urge to leave Joel, I thought while still never forgetting about that lie, about the fact that he made the choice himself in Salt Lake, she would stay with Joel for an undefined but long period of time in Jackson.
