I'm glad it's not a first party. The smartphone thing they already do, and everybody does it. It's stupid not to when comparing the risk and margins of those games compared to console games. They just have to still release good console/handheld games.

Add SMT and Persona, among others, to Sega's impressive list of Phantasy Star, Shining series, Ryu ga Gotoku, Seventh Dragon, Vocaloid games... Now if they make another Sakura Taisen and Valkyria game it would be perfect.

It could have been worse. A Western publisher like EA or Ubisoft could have purchased them.
