It could be good or bad, like it would be in any case with anyone buying them.
Mainly if Sega Let's Atlus Continue Running Fairly Autonomously until they don't profit through Atlus USA it will be fine and games get localized.
I'm glad it's not a first party. The smartphone thing they already do, and everybody does it. It's stupid not to when comparing the risk and margins of those games compared to console games. They just have to still release good console/handheld games.
