That might be why Link Between Worlds isn't coming out until next year in Japan. What I don't understand is why the 2DS still doesn't have a release date for Japan... Nintendo should get on that.

2DS not releasing in Japan, maybe they'll wait intill numbers decrease. as of now MH4+pokemon they probably dont need it yet?

It's not only Monhun and Pokemon, there's also that ridiculously good looking One Piece game, the attack on titan game and Puzzle vs Dragons Z. I expect decent to big numbers from all of those games. Zelda is not big enough over there to stand it's ground. It's also smarter to have games ready to keep the momentum from this holiday.

 

Edit: Also regarding Killzone and other games, I expect very very low numbers from everything else besides MonHun.



Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

There's no official word on that from Nintendo. It'll come eventually, but who knows when? I just don't see the point in holding out. Maybe they designed it to be more appealing in the Western markets, or they just thought the West needs it more. I dunno.
