Technically, I am correct, you just didn't like my wording being that I respect you(regardless of what you think of me) I opted to take back my wording. Microsoft is full of crap because if the Xbox One is streamlined tech to work well for devs it's not as complex as they made it seem in this PR statement. Perhaps the Azure Cloud is complex, but the Xbox One's development tools are not. The PS3 was noted by developers all-around as "complex" which made developing multiplats on it possible yet tough compared to the Xbox 360. This time no console is going to be complex to develop for once Cerny was given the reigns of the PS4. As per Hynad's statement he was just correcting you as he seems to be fluent in French. I've seen him talk to others in french. A correction is a correction.

Stage, I fully respect your opinion, of course. I don't care about Hynad, he is of no matter in this case. Again, of course you can have your opinion but saying what you think and *how* you say it are two totally different points. And you don't have to argue your opinion again, I think everyone knows how and what you think, which is totally fine. Just try to choose "better" words so people want to try to discuss with you on a more "educated" level. And of course I accept corrections and I told why I made this "failure".

This is not directed at the OP or anything, but am I the only one that's getting tired of Microsoft "statements" every two days now? Why can't they just pipe down and make the damned console?

They're crying over system specs is reaching epic new born levels at this point. Give us a break. Most people wouldn't even know how much a disadvantage they were at if they'd quit squawking and commenting on every little story. If it's not true, they should just say "we don't comment on rumors and speculation" like they usually do, and move on. It's becoming a joke.

He stated that Sony would one up MS "time and time angain" in the hardware department whichis  simply not true as the XBox/ 360 are famous for their reletive ease of development (in contrast to the PS2/3).

The PS4 seems to be a completely different beast, with Sony´s tools and documentation reportedly far surpassing MS´ offerings.

Nope, it was a combination of both, the documentation was shit (but that is the case with pretty much every single console at the beginning)...but it was the hardware that made the most problems .

Your obsession with trying to prove that Sony is better than M$ and M$ is "obsessed" with beating Sony is borderline fanatical.

The fact that you believe that M$ finds Sony to be their main competition is the unfortunate part of this whole thing.  Sure, it is important for M$ to be sucessful in the gaming arena, as it fits into the bigger puzzle for them.  Would M$ like it if the PS4 was a failure - probably.  M$'s competition is Google/Apple.  If Sony even puts out another Playstation after this, it will not have their operating system.  It will more than likely be an Android/Chrome OS.  The next gen systems if they even happen will only be supported if they are on an OS that developers are already developing on.  M$ is trying to maintain some level of relevence with all of their OS's being compatible to each other.  If M$ sells 50 million XB1s they will have been succesful.  That's 50 million people using their xbox music/movies/apps + the hundreds of millions of people running windows.  That is what M$ is after.  That's why they revealed the XB1 and hardly talked about games.  Sure, they would love it if you and the other 30 million core gamers around the world fell in love with their system, but they don't need them to.  MS isn't worried aout Sony being in the business of media portal, they have already given up that opportunity when they didn't succeed in taking their install base of the PS3 and turning it into a full fledged portal for it's users.  The PS4 will outsell the XB1 and probably by a good margin unless M$ comes up with some fad game around the kinect that propels the XB1 like the Wii.   In 5-7 years, Sony will still be Sony.  They will produce hardware that runs everyone elses software/music/games.  IF M$ is lucky, the xbox store will have taken hold and they will have put themselves in position to stick around long term.
