I can´t remember where I read it,but I do remember reading an interview with Castlevania producer (Igarashi,I think) where he said he was interested in developing a new Castlevania for home consoles,I think he even hinted at the 360,but I´m not sure...anyway,would you like one that isn´t for handhelds?

great classic, I have it on PSP, but there has to be an end to this platforming scroller game. No more ports.

Symphony of the Night is my favorite Castlevania ever....I really wanted a true sequel on home systems,not only on DS/PSP.

i hope not, all games for consoles have been average at best ( in my opinion ) since they went 3D, Castlevania is a serie that should remain in 2D, just like Contra.

 I agree with the no more ports thing, but they should dare to make a sidescroller Castlevania for a home console, one totally new and shiny :D.

I agree,the 3D iterations pale in comparison to the 2D ones...but that´s why I wanted a new,2D title for home consoles...who says they have to be 3D?...or does Konami think a 2D game,follow up to SOTN, wouldn´t sell well nowadays on home systems?

Quite likely one will be announced, but unlikely it will be 2D...so even as a huge Castlevania fan, call me when it is 2D. I'm more interested in another DS 2D adventure than a 3D abomination.

Has someone a PAL version of "Castlevania : Symphony of Night" for the PSx1 ?
