It is certainly looking nicer and will definitely be in a good place once the AA has been sorted. Biggest problem with Forza at the moment is that it looks nice, but doesnt actually look much above and beyond Forza on the 360 (admittedly the 360 version was already very good)... but Forza's biggest downfall right now is that it has very little going on off track. You could question how much off track stuff you need when driving around at speed, but Driveclub's environments have more things happening.

I hope you can switch off all the social aspect stuff as I am not a fan of that.

that's the "problem" of real race tracks. you can't just put some nice stuff around the track to let the environment look better in a racing sim if it isn't there in real life. laguna seca as example just doesn't have much more than sand and some stands

Also there is no cracks on the track, something that forza series seem to love to do to make it look more textured but in reality why is there cracks and bumps on a racing track? the guys handling the asphalt must have not been doing a good job, there is no cracks and bumps in a racing track its just smooth and textureless, otherwise there would be a lot of accidents.

This looks more like a rally track than a race track.

Is it not going to be 60 FPS? its a racing game , it should be 60 FPS by default , or else just not release it. its pathetic that PS4 can't do 1080p 60 FPS, its "Next Gen" , need for speed did have 60 FPS gameplay and that one was on PS3 and it also had dynamic weather and lots of rain.

Well if you don't like a racing game that isn't 60fps just buy one that is ¬¬"

Now i know what they mean when they talk about Driveclub's graphics and shade. The shade looks awesome!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Looks leagues better than it looked a few months back, but if it's still only 30fps that's a deal breaker for me. Then again we're all getting the PS+ edition.

Definitely not me. I'll be getting the full version. If there's ever a complete option, that's what I choose.

Well if you're getting PS+ anyway: http://www.gamespot.com/news/driveclub-ps-plus-edition-will-offer-discounted-upgrade-6413950

You can get the full game cheaper through that.

Which NFS? I'm pretty sure most of them were 30 FPS

hot persuit is the one i played.

DriveClub is looking better and better.

About the comparison that everybody makes in this thread... one looks like toy compared to other.

The most impressive thing about drive club is that its using forward rendering where it can achieve hundreds of dynamic lights so that makes it understandable that its running at 30fps when using the same technology from dirt showdown.

Edit: The terrains looks nice too while also having a larger draw distance than forza 5.
