If you bought an arcade or core, you bought the cheap version. If you bought the cheap version, you are not a hardcore gamer. If you are not a hardcore gamer, you don't have a PS3. If you have a core/arcade and not a PS3, you are not wondering which version to get. You know its 360.

Fail.
Or, you're just one of the people that bought a $300 core from 2005-2007. BEFORE games required HDDs (laughs in M$'s face for the whole "we give our consumers options" statement, and now game start to REQUIRE HDDs)

I challenge you to show me one game that requires a hard drive on the 360.

It may take you awhile to find an example of one because it doesn't exist.

Burnout Paradise online, I know it does not really count, but it is closest there is

It's actually about 20% of 360 owners that don't have HDDs. And M$ announced it back in August 2007, that games will be allowed to require HDDs (even though they strictly forbidded it when it launched). And Burnout Paradise....yes, for online play requires it. You needed HDD to play the expansions of Oblivion.....you need HDD to have a freaking gamertag!!!

Hopefully a PS3 price drop will happen before this game comes out, otherwise I'll get a Wii. =[

I've owned a pro since 2006.  It still has 8gb of hard-drive space left. I think I'll be fine.

Tht's pne of the poorest applications of logic I've seen in a while... well done.

Care to explain? Or are you just hoping that people will take you seriously and assume that you are right because you put a sarcastic "well done" at the end of your sentence? Personally I think that logic is rather sound.

Launching a year after the PS2 version probably had something to do with its sales.

That, too. It's hard to sell 16m games when your userbase is around 25m.
