I wonder if it's going to be a real sequel or an "Ultimate Edition." If the latter, I'll pass. If the former... I'll consider, especially since the original was the most fun I've had with a Final Fantasy game in ages.

not sure what would class as sequel or ultimate edition

it doubles the songs, adds new characters and has new game modes. to me that warrants a buy

I heard it's a proper sequel, the director has stressed that point.

In that case, consider it one of my most wanted upcoming 3DS games.

So how much was the DLCs in the first game? Anyone know?

iPhone or 3DS? For the latter, I think there were 50 or so songs at $0.99 a pop. Even if the game simply includes all those songs in-game (AND in the Dark Shrine this time! Or at least more than 20 Dark Shrine songs...) I'll probably be picking this up

Final fantasy Theatrhythm is less gameplay and more fan service than anything in my opinion. I'll probably get it just because, but after 10 hours of playing, might not touch it again.

Yeah 3DS.

Holy smokes 50 songs for $1 each....uhh I think I'll just stick with the base game....

So I just double-checked, and it turns out that's a bargain compared to the iOS version. Getting all the content there will run you $143.
